The pages of my chapbook are made from cardboard/construction like paper purchased from the craft
store Michaels. The front cover includes the title “Jack”, placed on a metallic like design paper.

Pages 1-2: On the first page, is the left half of Charles Olson’s map “The Curriculum of the Soul”. On the second
page, includes the title “Jack” and subtitle, as well as author, publisher, place and date of print.

Pages 3-4: On the third page is a photo of Charles Olson and includes a brief description of his life. On the fourth
page, are some cloth or paper like flowers also purchased at Michaels as well as a description of “The
Curriculum of the Soul” collaborative project dedicated to Olson after he passed away.

Pages 5-6: On the fifth page are cut out pictures of the cover designs of a few of the fascicles that were illustrated
by Guy Berard. On the sixth page is a few more cover designs as well as the paper flowers with a
description of these fascicles stating who, what, when and where they were created.

Pages 11-12: On page eleven are two quotes written by people about Olson and the Olson project and also contains
more flowers. On page twelve is a photo of the University at Buffalo and a description of the quotes and Olson’s time working at the universities.

Pages 9-10: On page nine is a photo of a mysterious man walking through a dark walkway. There is also a
description of “Jack” titled a man of Mystery. On the tenth page is a photo design containing the
“meaning of Jack”. There is also a description of why the author titled her book “Jack” and gave some
details on the Jack’s relationship with Olson and the collaborative project.

Pages 13-14: On page thirteen are lists of sources used to attain information about Olson to make the book as well
as more flowers. On page fourteen is the right part of Olson’s map of “The Curriculum of the Soul” that
was the other half of the one placed on the first page.

The back cover is the same exact metallic paper design that was on the front. The back has no content
on it. However, the design contains gold, mauve, blues, and other neutral colors with a striped like
design going horizontally across the paper. The book is also bonded together with a silver string sowed
in the book and then tied into a bow on the side.
